ATLANTA — Additional bookstores are coming to Georgia.

Barnes & Noble plans to open about 60 new bookstores around the United States, including in Georgia. Metro Atlanta is currently the home to 10 Barnes & Noble locations.

Barnes & Noble tells USA Today that it’s expanding because of strong sales at its current stores. It plans to open the new locations in the first half of next year.

There is no word on where the new stores will be located or when they are coming to Georgia.
