DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Police are issuing a warning to students to avoid participating in a rumored “senior skip day” takeover at a popular metro Atlanta park.

DeKalb County police are warning students about the consequences for participating in a takeover at Wade Walker Park.

Police say they will enforce truancy laws if any students show up at the park on “senior skip day.”

Multiple people were arrested at recent teen takeovers in Cobb County and Atlanta.
