BROOKHAVEN, GA — Two people are dead after a shooting near an apartment complex in Brookhaven Sunday night.

According to police, officers responded to North Cliff Valley Way just before 11:30 p.m., where two people were found shot.

Authorities say one person died at the scene. The second victim was taken to the hospital and later died.

Police are investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
