ATLANTA — One person was hospitalized after a shooting in southwest Atlanta early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Pryor Road just before 7 a.m. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound.

The identity of the victim and current extent of his injury are unknown.

Police investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
