ATLANTA — Zillow is predicting a very average housing market for metro Atlanta in 2026.

Correspondent Rory O’Neil says many would-be buyers are staying put.

“They’ve seen the value of their property go up significantly. But the house that they want to buy has also gotten out of their price range,” O’Neil said.

He says many people are in loans with very low interest rates, and moving into loans with double the interest rate makes no sense.
