COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County residents could soon have a new charge on their water bills.

County commissioners will vote Thursday night on a proposal to impose a $4.75 a month storm water fee.

Supporters say this will provide necessary funds to support county infrastructure, but opponents say residents don’t want to pay an additional fee.

The vote is scheduled for the commission meeting at 6 p.m.
