GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County Police are responding to an officer-involved shooting.

A normally quiet Peachtree Corners neighborhood is the scene of an officer-involved shooting. Gwinnett County police say a man was shot at a home on the 6000 block of Lockridge Drive after approaching an officer with a knife.

The suspect was rushed to the hospital. The identity of the suspect was not released.

The officer also had to be taken to the hospital after falling during the incident. Investigators are still on the scene at this hour trying to learn more about the shooting.
