COBB COUNTY, GA — A road will be shut down for several hours after a car crashed into a utility pole in Cobb County on Monday.

Cobb County police say Lower Roswell Road between Pinehurst Lane and Cross Gate Drive will be shut down for at least eight hours as crews work to repair downed power lines.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities ask motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
