COBB COUNTY, GA — A Cobb County family escaped a fire at their home early Monday morning.

According to Cobb County fire officials, the blaze broke out just before 4 a.m. in the garage of a home on Vineyard Way in Smyrna.

Everyone made it out safely, officials said. However, a firefighter suffered minor injuries battling the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
