ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a 67-year-old woman dead on Christmas Eve.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot at the 2500 block of Tilson Drive just before 2 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found the woman gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where she later died.

The identity of the victim was not released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
