CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — A metro Atlanta jury has convicted a man for sex crimes against teenage girls.

Cherokee County officials say Monquezias Deshad Watts, 33, of Canton, was found guilty of four counts of rape, five counts of child molestation and one count of aggravated sexual battery.

One of the victims was younger than 13, officials say. Watts was acquitted of three additional counts.

Sentencing is scheduled for later this month.
