Man convicted in 2020 Auburn Avenue mass shooting awaits sentencing

ATLANTA — A man has been convicted in a deadly mass shooting that erupted on Auburn Avenue during the summer of 2020.

A Fulton County jury found Jerry Emile guilty of murder and aggravated assault in connection with the shooting, which left 20-year-old Joshua Ingram and 32-year-old Erica Robinson dead. More than a dozen others were injured.

The jury found Emile not guilty on a firearms charge and on one count of aggravated assault with a weapon.

He now awaits sentencing.
