Heavy rain and severe thunderstorms rolled through North Georgia Tuesday afternoon and again Wednesday morning, dumping heavy rain throughout the Metro Atlanta region.

- Waleska at 3.09 inches
- Suwanee at 2.75 inches
- Powder Springs with 2.67 inches
- Brookhaven at 2.53 inches

Highest rainfall totals in 24 hours include
- Cartersville with over 6 inches of rain (6.08 inches)
- Waleska at 5.23 inches
- Flowery Branch with over 4.6 inches of rain (4.63 inch)
- Gainesville at 4.56 inch
