Strider sets Atlanta record with 16 K’s

Rookie Spencer Strider set an Atlanta record with 16 strikeouts as the Braves blanked the Rockies 3-0 Thursday night at Truist Park.

The previous mark by an Atlanta pitcher was 15 strikeouts by Hall-of-Famer John Smoltz who accomplished the feat on two different occasions.
