The 12th-ranked Georgia softball continued to build momentum with a three-game sweep of South Carolina.
The Bulldogs drew more than 6,000 fans to Jack Turner Stadium, another 2,244 turning out on Sunday for Georgia’s 3-0 win over the Gamecocks.
“I’m really proud of our team proud of the competitiveness over the course of the weekend,” Second-year coach Tony Baldwin said. “Proud of our pitching staff just commanding the ball; back-to-back one hitters is certainly going to put you in a position to win.”
