Davis was the older brother of current Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis.
Titus Davis holds the lead for Central Michigan in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, a record that had been set by Antonio Brown. Davis was named All-MAC in the four seasons he played in the NCAA and held the record for college football for scoring eight or more receiving touchdowns in four seasons, NBC Sports reported.
Condolences to family & friends of former @CMU_Football star WR Titus Davis, who died today. Titus scored 4 TDs for the Chips in our inaugural 2014 game, none more memorable than his 15-yard dash to the pylon to cap off a wild final play that is part of college football lore. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/nEswiKL7N0
