The deadline looms to make sure your Christmas presents get to their destination in time for the big day.

CNN reported that Saturday is the shipping cutoff to make sure that presents get to their recipients by Christmas Day without having to pay for expedited services.

But if you want to pay extra to make sure that your gifts get to their destinations on time, you have a bit more time to play with.

Here is the breakdown.

USPS:

• Ground: Dec. 17.
• First-Class Mail: Dec. 17.
• Priority Mail: Dec. 19.
• Priority Mail Express: Dec. 23.

But if you’re shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, the schedule is a bit different. First-Class Mail and Priority Mail must be sent by Dec. 17, with Priority Mail Express sent by Dec. 21 for expected delivery by Christmas.

USPS said the above dates will ensure guaranteed delivery by Christmas, CBS News reported.

UPS:

• Ground: Check the UPS website.
• 3-Day Select: Dec. 20.
• 2nd Day Air: Dec. 21.
• Next Day Air: Dec. 22.

FedEx:

• FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery: The deadline was Dec. 14.
• FedEx Express Saver: Dec. 20.
• FedEx 3Day Freight: Dec. 20.
• FedEx 2Day Freight: Dec. 21.
• FedEx 2Day: Dec. 21.
• FedEx 1Day Freight: Dec. 22.
• FedEx First, Priority, Standard overnight: Dec. 22.
• FedEx Same Day: Dec. 23.

FedEx said about 2.4 million packages are sorted through its Memphis hub daily, spending about three hours there before they’re distributed to planes waiting to be taken to their destinations, CBS News reported.

Amazon:

Amazon has not released shipping deadlines as of Wednesday, according to CNN. However, the online retailer said it will be delivering orders through Dec. 24.

Prime members in the U.S. can have free one-day delivery with no minimum purchase and free-same day delivery during normal business hours in more than 90 areas, CNN reported.

Other retailers:

• Target: Dec. 22 for standard delivery.
• Macy’s: Dec. 21.
