A teenager and three small children are among those recovering from injuries in a nasty crash in Paulding County.
The teenager lost control of his Jeep and crashed into grandmother driving around three small kids, a witness said.
The teenager’s Jeep rolled three times and he was ejected into a ditch.
“He was unconscious,” witness Nathan Pearson told Channel 2 Action News. “But by the time the ambulance and the fire department got here he was starting to come back around."
North Paulding High School student Olivia Wilbur says the boy is one of her classmates.
"I saw the car and the boy laying over there across the street and it just shocked me because my little sister had to see it too," she said. "So, it was upsetting and emotional anyways because I knew who it was."
Apparently the teen ran off the road and overcorrected, sending him into oncoming traffic.
The accident happened Friday on Ivey Gulledge Road and Fieldcrest Drive.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
Investigators have not released the names of the people involved or their conditions.
