Sandy Springs Police have located two children whose parents are now dead in what is believed to be a murder/suicide.

Lt. Steve Rose tells WSB's Sandra Parrish officers were called to the Park Tower Condominiums on Hammond Drive Tuesday night, after the father of the deceased woman expressed concern that he had not heard from his daughter.  She had gone to visit her estranged husband earlier in the day.

Rose say after two visits to the condo with no one coming to the door, they executed a search warrant and the found the bodies of Jamal and Irene Mickens Wednesday morning.

Police had been searching for the couple's two African-American children, a seven-year-old boy named Evan and his five year-old sister, Ava.  They have now been located at the house of their aunt--the dead man's sister.
