Roswell Police tried to ease residents' concerns following a report of a suspicious man lurking around a subdivision off of Crabapple Road. Heidi Newell tells Channel 2 Action News neighbors have been on edge since the incident two months ago.
"I certainly am very uncomfortable with letting the kids even walk down the driveway and down the street," said Newell.
Roswell Police Officer Lisa Holland says they think parents should be vigilant but not panic.
"Their kids are safe here in Roswell. We've only had that one incident two months ago. We do want people to call us you know, when they do see a suspicious vehicle. We definitely want to follow up on every call we get," said Holland.
Police have released a vague description of the man seen April 30th. He is white, in his 50's, has a pot belly, gray hair, and thick glasses, and was driving a green Nissan Maxima with a drive-out tag.
