Subtropical storm Ana, about 200 miles off shore of Tybee Island is producing Rip Currents and Rough Surf.
Captain Todd Horne with Tybee Ocean Rescue told us, Life Guards have already pulled swimmers in trouble out of the water over the past 24 hours, because of the currents.
Storms and severe weather are also likely to stir up jellyfish and ocean debris.
Horne says, beach goers must pay attention to beach warning flags. A "Red Flag" warning means a high hazard for rip currents, a double red flag means, the beach is closed.
