A television special Sunday night raises new questions about the disappearance and death of Buford resident Kelly Nash.

WSB covered the search for Nash after he went missing from his home early in the morning of January 5.  He left his vehicle, car keys, wallet and cellphone behind.  A fisherman found his body in Lake Lanier a month later.

In "Gone in Georgia: A Disappeared Special," a statement by law enforcement indicates Nash died from a gunshot wound and subsequent drowning.  As reported in the Gwinnett Daily Post, the statement adds investigators have not ruled out foul play.

A Hall County sheriff's spokeswoman has no comment about the report.  At the time the body was discovered, the sheriff's office initially said foul play was not suspected.

The special airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on Investigation Discovery Channel.
