Police in Sacramento, California have arrested a 29-year-old woman after determining her 6-week-old baby died of burns from a microwave.  Ka Yang is being held without bail on assault and suspicion of murder.

Her daughter was found dead at the family home in March after suffering what the police report called “extensive thermal injuries.”

Three older children have been removed from the home.
