WOODSTOCK, GA — The city of Woodstock is one step closer to having another fire station.

Officials broke ground Monday for Fire Station 34, which will be located on Long Drive.

This would be the city’s fourth station as part of their expanded fire protection network, which is aimed at strengthening response times around the area.

The station is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
