ATLANTA — Atlanta police have charged a woman with murder in a deadly shooting at a southeast Atlanta apartment complex.

Officers said a woman and a man were shot at 440 Thomasville Boulevard SE.

Authorities said woman was dead at the scene and the man was taken to the hospital where he was listed as stable.

Investigators say another man was shot in the foot at a nearby location. They later learned that the two shootings were connected to one another.

APD Homicide detectives said they believe this was a domestic dispute that escalated to gunfire.

Andrea Rivers, 43, has been arrested and charged with murder and three counts of aggravated assault with the intent to murder. She is being held in the Fulton County Jail.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the shooting.
