Winter weather woes capture Super Bowl Committee’s Attention

Super Bowl weather

Atlanta, Ga. — With the winter weather moving in – the question is what’s going to happen with all the super bowl festivities downtown and those 10 thousand volunteers staffing them. The host committee’s Brett Daniels tells WSB Radio.

“The street teams and those in the volunteer headquarters have already been notified that we are not activating them. We didn’t want them standing out in the rain and cold Tuesday afternoon because we don’t figure anyone else is going to be out much either, they’re going to be racing to get back inside.”

Super Bowl live – the outdoor fan experience was already slighted to be closed on Tuesday. And the NFL SVP of Events Peter O’Reilly says they’re making arrangements for fans who can’t get in

“Just want to make sure that any fan who is unable to attend tomorrow (Tuesday) because of weather can attend and make sure that they are there on Wednesday.”
