DUNWOODY, GA — A delayed water main replacement project is finally moving forward in Dunwoody after recent rain pushed back its start.

City officials say DeKalb County Watershed Management will close Chamblee-Dunwoody Road near Redfield Road as construction begins.

Drivers will be detoured south onto Roberts Drive, and signs will be posted on both sides of the work zone to help guide traffic.

The city is urging motorists to plan ahead and expect delays while the project is underway.
