Women’s volleyball matches that were to have played Friday and Saturday in Starkville have been postponed because of coronavirus issues on the Georgia team that was scheduled to play Mississippi State. There was no immediate word on when the games might be rescheduled.

From UGA Sports Communications...

Volleyball matches between Georgia and Mississippi State, scheduled to be played January 29 and 30, have been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the Georgia program.

The action is consistent with COVID-19 management requirements developed by the SEC’s Medical Guidance Task Force.

The opportunity to reschedule the matches will be evaluated.
