CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police are warning people in Jonesboro to avoid the area as their SWAT team responds to a barricaded gunman.
The SWAT situation is unfolding in the 6300 block of Old Dixie Highway.
“We are asking all citizens to please avoid the area for safety concerns. Updates will be provided as soon as available.”
Police say that gunshots have already been fired. No injuries have been reported.
