The Spaulding County Sheriff’s Department reports that the inmate that walked away from a work detail has been apprehended.

Earlier Monday, the department stated that an inmate “has fled the detail on foot. He was last seen on Vineyard Rd near the North Expressway.”

His name has not been released and his charges were not disclosed,
