Police step up patrols near Snellville jewelry stores after home invaders assault a jeweler and his wife at their home. 

The masked men kicked in the back door Monday night and sexually assaulted the jeweler's 53-year-old wife.  They stole $3,000 in cash and a $100,000 in jewelry from the Indian couple who run a jewelry store off highway 124. 

Investigators are checking other crimes against members of the Indian community to see if there may be any connection.
