RIGHT NOW: Strong storms with heavy rain, wind gusts push through north Georgia

Fulton County airport Shanna shared this photo of approaching storm at the Fulton County Executive Airport.

A line of strong to severe storms is racing through metro Atlanta.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Jennifer Lopez says the storm risk is a Level 2 out of 5 for some counties while others are under a Level 1 risk.

The Level 3 storm risk issued earlier for eastern Alabama counties and far west Georgia has been reduced.

With both risk levels, a brief, isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
