DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Police are investigating after human remains were found behind a church in Tucker Friday.
The remains were found behind Rehoboth Baptist Church on Lawrenceville Highway around 12:30 p.m.

The cause of death and identity of the remains is pending further examination by the Medical Examiner’s office.

Channel 2 Action News viewers reported seeing a large police presence in the area.
It’s unclear how the remains were found or how long investigators believe they have been at the location.
