DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A man accused of rape and kidnapping in DeKalb County is back behind bars after he left the courthouse shortly before his trial was scheduled to begin.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit caught 46-year-old Bryan Byers outside a library on Redan Road.
He was already facing charges related to an incident in July of 2017 and he now faces an additional charge of failure to appear for a jury trial.
He’s being held without bond.
