COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County police responded Monday to a shooting near Cumberland Mall.

The shooting was reported in the parking lot of a Carrabba's restaurant on Cumberland Parkway after 1:30 p.m., according to authorities.

One person was hit by gunfire and police are searching for the shooter.
