COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Halloween is a favorite time of year for families. It’s a chance to the families to spend time together and for kids to dress up in their favorite costumes.
Nurses at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Cobb County didn’t want families to miss out on the fun. The NICU team designed and created costumes for the babies.
“Our creative nurses have made it a tradition to design costumes for all the babies who get checked in during the last week of October. This small gesture brings smiles to families during the difficult days when their baby can’t go home yet,” the hospital said.
This year, the babies dressed up as Super Mario Bros characters like Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. Others dressed up as Carl from “Pixar’s Up," cute bunnies, Rocky and a tiny candy corn.
