Late Friday afternoon into evening strong to severe storms have left their mark on metro Atlanta.
There were multiple reports of trees and power lines blocking roads - from Roswell to Sandy Springs and elsewhere.

In Cherokee County, the Sheriff’s Office tweeted the update of a tree across Bells Ferry Rd between Victoria Rd and Port Victoria. Reports of a minor injury when a tree fell on a mobile home.

WSB meteorologist Christina Edwards has been tracking the storms, which she expects to die down and fade out by 9 p.m. tonight if not earlier.
Her forecast for the weekend calls for drier and slightly cooler temperatures.
