ROSWELL, GA — Centennial High School in Roswell was placed on a soft lockdown on Tuesday due to what police described as an “offsite threat.”

Roswell police say additional patrols were sent to the area, but all students and staff are safe.

Officials say normal school operations have since resumed. Nearby Hillside Elementary School was also placed on a soft lockdown.

Police are investigating.
