MCDONOUGH, Ga. — Henry County police are currently investigating a shooting inside a McDonough flea market that left one person dead.

Officers were called to a shooting at Peachtree Peddler’s Flea Market and Antique Centre on Mill Road just before 6 p.m. on Sunday evening.

One person is dead as a result of the shooting. It is unclear at this time whether the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene or died from their injuries later.

Police also confirmed that one person is in custody in connection to the shooting. Both their identity and their charges have not been released.

Investigators are still working to determine a motive for this shooting.
