All-Star guard, Joe Johnson, has being traded by the Hawks to the Nets.

Although NBA trades  aren't official until July 11, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that both teams have agreed to trade Johnson in exchange for multiple players with expiring contracts and a first-round draft pick.

The Hawks are expected to get Jordan Farmar, Anthony Morrow, Johan Petro, DeShawn Stevenson and Jordan Williams along with the 2013 first-round draft pick that the Nets acquired in a trade with the Houston Rockets.  Williams met with both the Nets and the Mavericks on Monday.  According to the AJC, the Nets plan to pair Johnson with Williams and re-sign free-agent center Brook Lopez to form the core of their team."

Johnson, 31, is owed nearly $90 million over the final four years of a contract he signed in summer 2010 making it the richest contract in the league at the time.
