Fire investigators said they were quickly able to determine no residents were in the house, but neighbors informed them there could be a dog inside.

The single-family, split-level home had flames showing and it took some time to put the fire down according to the fire department. They said a crew went inside the house while the fire was being extinguished and they found the family pet, a golden retriever.
