GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Gwinnett County police officer who was shot multiple times while responding to a call at a Stone Mountain hotel is doing well in his recovery.

Officials say Master Police Officer David Reed has undergone surgery.

Another officer, 25-year-old Gwinnett County Police Officer Pradeep Tamang was killed in the shooting. Tamang’s’ funeral is scheduled on Saturday morning in Lawrenceville.
