A Gwinnett County man is behind bars after he is accused of soliciting sex from two teenage boys.

Snellville police say 28-year-old Matthew Crawford was arrested Sunday night after detectives asked him to come in for questioning.

One of the two boys, ages 13 and 15, told police he had meet Crawford online.  The police incident report states the two had met with Crawford on several occasions.

On Sunday, they say he picked them up from the Wendy’s in Grayson supposedly to take them to his vacant home in the Summit Chase subdivision to play video games.

Both boys reported Crawford offered them marijuana and then asked them to touch him.  When he attempted to touch one of them, the two say they ran and called police.

It is not the first time Crawford is facing such charges.  He was out on bond at the time for a similar crime in 2010. That case is still pending.

Neighbors in the Timberline section of the subdivision tell WSB’s Sandra Parrish they are shocked.

“It’s really dangerous… there’s (sic) predators everywhere and kids really have to understand the dangers of the internet,” says Kristen Mullins.

Bob Jones lives across the street from the home that Crawford purchased three years ago, but has yet to move into.

“He didn’t come around much,” says Jones.  “He kept the yard cut and he would come and go occasionally.”

Jones says Crawford would speak to him when he did come by and seemed friendly. When he asked when Crawford was moving in, the young man responded he had to buy furniture and needed to do some remodeling first.

“And that’s been a long time ago,” says Jones.

On his prior arrest, Crawford listed his parent’s home in Lilburn as his address.
