RIVERDALE, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating a shooting involving a Riverdale police officer.

Officers were called to the area of River Park Drive in Riverdale.

Police from Riverdale and Clayton County and GBI agents are surrounding the parking lot for Ideal Therapy.

The parking lot is just down the road from Southern Regional Medical Center.

It is unclear if anyone was injured or the extent of those injuries.

Police have not released details on what led up to the shooting.
