COBB COUNTY, GA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a Cobb County inmate.

The sheriff’s office says 57-year-old Bobby Clark was deferred to the hospital for care during pre-booking at the adult detention center, but he refused treatment and came back to the jail.

That’s where he later died, despite the efforts of paramedics.

An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.

Clark was being held on criminal trespassing charges.
