Dunwoody police search for woman in ‘suspicious’ incident involving child

Dunwoody police needs your help identifying a suspicious person who tried to get a child into her car on Waterford Drive.

Around 5:45 in the afternoon on October 24th a 10-year-old boy riding his bike says a red four-door Toyota sedan pulled up next to him. The boy told police the female driver tried to get him to get in her car. He rode off towards his home and she followed him. When he went inside she turned around and drove off.

The woman is describes as white , mid 30's to early 40's with pink hair and a nose ring.

"We are trying to find this person to find out what they were doing and why they were trying to get a child into their car," says Sgt Robert Parsons with Dunwoody police. With this being Halloween he says, "it's definitely amped up our efforts right now trying to find out who this was."
