DEKALB COUNTY, GA — With flu spreading rapidly across metro Atlanta, DeKalb County reports a 60% increase in flu-related 911 calls over the past several weeks.

The CDC says flu activity in Georgia is now considered extremely high.

While most flu cases can be managed safely at home, you should seek medical attention if symptoms become severe or worsen quickly, especially for older adults, young children, and those with compromised immune systems.
