COVID-19 HOTLINE: Helping Georgia Families

More than 981,000 people worldwide -- including more than 226,000 people in the United States – have been infected with the new coronavirus, and the number of deaths from the outbreak continues to rise.

This worldwide pandemic has affected several families here in Georgia and raises several questions on what to expect for the state.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) launched a dedicated COVID-19 hotline last week to answer questions from Georgia’s families. Call 404-785-7955, seven days a week between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to speak with an expert about your concerns.

Below is a video from CHOA’s Chief Medical Officer Dan Salinas, MD, providing tips on how to talk to your child about the virus and more about symptoms and prevention.
