The sheriff’s office says three of their deputies were serving a warrant to Henderson when he got hold of one of their guns and shot at the deputies, striking two of them. Both are expected to survive.
On Sunday, the sheriff’s office announced Henderson had been located and taken into custody with the help of “what seems like every Law Enforcement Agency in the area (and the US MARSHALS).”

According to the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson was on probation for robbery, aggravated assault and burglary charges. The warrant was connected to another arrest in Decatur County last month.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was also involved in the search for Henderson, issuing a statewide Blue Alert to alert all agencies to look out for him.
