One small business in Cobb County is getting some national exposure as its employees try to save jobs amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Glory Haus, based in Marietta, makes home items and tea towels.
Owner Molly Holmes says that right now, they are in dire straights: “In order to save the jobs of my 22 employees, and a business that’s been around for 12 years and is a pillar to our Marietta community, we must find a new way to sell our wonderful Easter and Spring Tea Towels.”
Holmes’ message recently caught the attention of staffers at Good Morning America.
The company was featured Monday morning as part of GMA’s ‘Deals and Steals’ segment with host Tory Johnson making this plea: “For us, it might just be a small $11 purchase, but for this company, you have the ability to help save all 22 of these jobs.”
